COVID-19 UPDATE 3/23/20

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has issued a Stay at Home Order for Ohio effective at 11:59 pm Monday, March 23rd through April 6th, 2020. We have been designated as an Essential Business pursuant to the order of the Governor and are permitted to stay open. However, in the spirit of the Order, and with a mind to do our part in this crisis and to protect you and our employees, our offices will be working under a modified and limited access and work regime.

Our staff will be partly working from the office and working remotely from home as best we can and as much as possible. Our doors will be locked to the general public but the office will have limited staff and limited access to our offices, and there will be a drop box located in our vestibule to accommodate items being left for our office. We will try to communicate as much as possible by email (see below for email connections). Legal appointments in-person are canceled effective immediately and will become phone appointments. Any additional in-person meeting will be scheduled by the attorney only in emergency or special circumstances.

Real estate closings will be scheduled on an as-needed basis with significant precautions and processes to ensure the safety of our staff and the public. If you are ill, stay at home. Do not come to our office! There will be no “rush” closings, please do not ask. As you know we are working with significant impediments to access the County for title searches, deed reviews, and recordings. This is the new normal for a while. Only individuals who will be signing documents will be permitted at the closings. Please do not bring children or others with you to closing. We are asking our Realtor and Banking friends not to attend the closing. You have trusted us with this work, please trust us to get it closed as efficiently as we can under these circumstances. Your patience, courtesy, and understanding are GREATLY appreciated. Everyone is working as best as we can in this situation and still trying to serve our customers.
